Der US-amerikanische Komponist Vic Mizzy ist am Samstag im Alter von 93 Jahren gestorben.
Mizzy komponierte in den 40er und 50er Jahren Popmusik, ab den 60er Jahren arbeitete er auch für Film und Fernsehen. Die Titelmelodie zur 60er-Jahre-TV-Serie „Die Addams Family“ stammt von ihm, ferner schrieb er zum Beispiel die Filmmusik zu „Er kam nur nachts“ (1964).
